6. PAYMENTS
Floral Sense accepts payments via PayFast, a secure third-party payment gateway.
Customers may use any payment method supported by PayFast, including but not limited to:

Bank transfer
Other PayFast-supported methods made available from time to time
Floral Sense does not store or have access to full card or banking details.
By placing an order, you confirm that:
you are authorised to use the selected payment method; and

Floral Sense is not responsible for payment delays or failures caused by PayFast, banks, or other third-party providers.
Orders will only be confirmed once payment has been successfully received and cleared.
7. DELIVERY
7.1 Delivery Areas
Floralsense offers delivery across South Africa. In certain areas, orders may be fulfilled through trusted third-party florists (“local florist fulfilment”) to ensure timely delivery and product availability.
By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept that:
your order may be prepared and delivered by a third-party florist on behalf of Floralsense;
product presentation may vary slightly due to local availability and seasonal stock;
substitutions may be made in accordance with these Terms and Conditions; and
if we are unable to fulfil your order, we will notify you and issue a full refund within 12 hours of your order confirmation.
7.2 Delivery Times
Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to traffic, weather, high order volumes, load-shedding, or recipient availability.
Same-day delivery may be available in selected areas subject to cut-off times and availability.
7.3 Delivery Fees
Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on the delivery address and chosen service options. Fees will be displayed before order confirmation.
7.4 Recipient Availability
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure:
the delivery address is correct and complete
the recipient is available
access instructions (gate codes, office reception details, etc.) are provided
If delivery fails due to incorrect details or recipient unavailability, re-delivery fees may apply.
7.5 Safe Drop / Leaving with Someone
If the recipient is unavailable, Floral Sense or the fulfilling florist may:
leave the order with reception, security, or a neighbour (where safe)
contact the customer for further instructions
Once delivered or accepted at the delivery address, Floral Sense is not responsible for loss or damage.
8. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Due to the perishable nature of flowers, refunds are strictly limited.
8.1 Cancellations
Orders may only be cancelled if:
cancellation is requested before preparation or dispatch, and
cancellation is confirmed by Floral Sense in writing
Same-day delivery orders generally cannot be cancelled once processing has begun.
8.2 Refund Timeframe (24 Hours)
Refund requests will only be accepted if submitted within 24 hours of delivery.
Requests after 24 hours from delivery will not be accepted.
8.3 Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered if:
the order was not delivered
the product delivered is significantly different from what was ordered (excluding reasonable substitutions)
the product arrived damaged due to Floral Sense’s handling
Proof such as order number and photographs may be required.
8.4 Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds will not be issued for:
complaints made after 24 hours of delivery
incorrect delivery details provided by the customer
recipient refusal or unavailability
delays outside our control
natural variations in flowers, colours, or seasonal substitutions
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
9. RETURNS
Flowers and perishable goods cannot be returned unless defective or damaged upon arrival.
Non-perishable gift items may be returned at Floral Sense’s discretion if unused and in original packaging.
10. SPECIAL DATES
During peak periods (e.g., Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day):
delivery windows may be broader
substitutions may be more likely
cancellations may not be possible once processing begins
11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All Website content, including images, text, logos, branding, and design elements, is owned by or licensed to Floral Sense and may not be copied or used without written permission.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Floral Sense will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit or business.
